I am motivated by the belief that facilitated communication—whether between individuals or within larger systems—has the power to create meaningful personal healing and broader social change. This perspective shapes both my clinical practice and my work in community,
I work with adults and youth struggling with anxiety and depression, substance use, or co-occuring mental health and substance use challenges. I draw from a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theory.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Portland State University and a Master of Global Public Health from New York University. I am a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the state of Oregon, as well as a Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Professional. My clinical work is informed by over a decade of experience across behavioral health, crisis intervention, community systems, and policy settings. I have worked in community corrections, provided emergency mental health services for military veterans, and supported individuals in acute crisis through mobile crisis response and inpatient settings.
I am a CareOregon contracted provider. I am also in-network with Moda, Trillium, and Kaiser.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my children outdoors, dancing, and gardening. I am a puppy-raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind—you may meet my current guide-in-training, Vada, during your visit.
