I enjoy working with individuals who are thoughtful, self-aware, and reflective, but who carry a harsh inner critic. They tend to ruminate, overanalyze, and feel worn down by cycles of self-doubt and hopelessness, even when things “look fine” from the outside. They are often deeply introspective and emotionally attuned, yet struggle to extend that same compassion to themselves.
I work with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, substance use, or co-occuring mental health and substance use challenges. I draw from a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theory.
I am a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the state of Oregon. I have worked in community corrections, provided emergency mental health services for military veterans, and supported individuals in acute crisis through mobile crisis response and inpatient settings.
I am a CareOregon contracted provider. I am also in-network with Moda, Trillium, and Kaiser.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my children outdoors, dancing, and gardening. I am a puppy-raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind—you may meet my current guide-in-training, Vada, during your visit.
