How do I schedule my first appointment?

You can email info@kztherapy.com, call 971-421-3848, or fill out our contact form. Your inquiry goes directly to us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible to coordinate next steps.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. You are welcome to contact us directly to get started.


Services & Specialties

What kinds of therapy do you offer?

We have eight therapists on our team. Our team works with teens, young adults, and adults. We offer trauma-informed individual therapy, support for substance use, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. You can read about therapists and their specialties here.

Do you work with teenagers?

Yes. We love teens! We have clinicians who work with teens, young adults, and their families. Currently the following therapists work with teenagers:

What modalities do your therapists use?


This really depends on the clinician and the client. Our therapists utilize evidence-based practices including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),

  • Narrative Exposure Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Trauma focused -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS)


Logistics & Access

Do you offer in-person and telehealth sessions?

Yes. We offer both in-person therapy at our Portland office and telehealth sessions for clients across Oregon. Availability will depend on clinician.

Where is your office located?

We’re located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood a block away from public transit:

Station: Goose Hollow/SW Jefferson St MAX (Blue & Red Lines)

Bus: Lines 6 & 58

Distance: ~1 block (~1–2 min walk)

Nearby landmarks: Athletic Club, Lincoln High School, Providence Park

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Availability varies by clinician - several of our therapists offer both evening and weekend appointments.
